I discussed some of the concerns I have with the organization in class, but I'll let you guys come up with your own position. The website is www.doyouviv.com.
Hi Marta, Thanks so much for presenting on and writing about up Viv. I'm director of business development for Viv and wanted to let you know about a few changes in the program. (I'd also love to hear your concerns with the previous program). We're moving away from counting stickers as votes and the new program is as follows:
1) We provide a compelling incentive for folks who are not already eco-conscious to become part of the Viv community through big (25%+ off) point-in-time specials at great local businesses 2) Then as businesses and people join the Viv community, we inspire, enable, and reward, them to make more eco-friendly decisions everyday through: ~Deeply Discounted Eco-Friendly Products ~Radically Transparent Profiles of Good Behavior ~Real World Incentives from Eco-Event Sponsors (e.g., free low-flow faucet aerators distributed at Viv special events) ~Online Resources that guide and encourage sustainable decision making
